Terms of Service

Unmetered (a working name; the operating entity will be identified here before public launch) runs a curated marketplace where vetted creators sell software tools under single-organization licenses.

You need an account to buy or sell. Keep your credentials secure; you're responsible for activity under your account. One account per person; accounts used to circumvent licenses (for example, buying tools to redistribute) will be terminated.

Prices are set per tool. A buyer service fee is shown at checkout before you pay, along with any applicable taxes. Payment processing is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

Every purchase requires accepting the Single-Organization License, and delivery is recorded as described there.

Creators warrant that they own the code they list, that it contains no malware, credentials, client-confidential data, or dependencies whose licenses conflict with the buyer license, and that they will support “doesn't run as described” claims within the window in the Refund Policy.

Platform fees for creators are published before listing. Founding creators pay 0% platform fees on their first $100,000 in sales. Payouts run through Stripe with a short rolling hold on each sale.

We run, scan, and freeze every listed version, and buyers always receive the exact reviewed bytes. Review is a quality gate, not a guarantee that a tool fits your specific purpose.

Don't use the marketplace to distribute malicious code, infringe intellectual property, or evade licensing. Don't scrape, probe, or interfere with the service.

If you believe a listing infringes your rights, contact us with the listing URL and the basis of your claim; we investigate every report and remove infringing material. A formal DMCA agent designation will be published here before public launch.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase, and neither we nor creators are liable for indirect or consequential damages.

We may update these terms as the marketplace evolves; material changes will be announced to account holders. Continued use after changes means acceptance. Governing law and venue will be specified with the operating entity before launch.
